Healing is a profound and almost divine science, gifted to humanity by the great seers of ancient India. According to these enlightened pioneers, a true healer must embody several unique qualities. A healer should be deeply spiritual and possess a heightened sense of awareness.
Dr. N.G. Murali, Reiki Grand Master, is a dedicated spiritual practitioner and an ardent devotee of Gayatri and Balatripurasundari. A true Tantric in every sense, he comes from a lineage of grace and tradition. He has been practicing Srividya Tantra and Yoga alongside Reiki, Rudraksha therapy, and crystal healing since the late 1990s.
The ancient seers also emphasized the importance of clairvoyance and astrological expertise in a healer. Dr. Murali is widely recognized for his accurate predictions and diagnostic capabilities, both in his healing practice and beyond. He is passionately committed to promoting the benefits of alternative medicine—especially Reiki, Rudraksha, Panchagavya, and crystal therapies—to the wider public.

He also serves as the Technical Director and Grand Master of Cosmoki, a dedicated institution for alternative therapies and spiritual research. As the name suggests, Cosmoki is a divine sanctuary for spiritual teachings, blending the wisdom of Reiki, Tantra, Yoga, and the Vedas.
Rudraksha is the seed of the Rudraksha tree (botanically classified under the genus Elaeocarpus). The tree is large and comparable in size to the Champaka (Magnolia) tree. The Rudraksha bead is generally round in shape, but as the number of faces (or divisions) increases, the bead may appear more oval.
Each Rudraksha bead is initially enclosed within a fruit. While growing, the fruit is green in colour and turns bright blue or violet upon maturing. The outer surface of the seed has natural grooves or divisions that segment the bead—these are known as faces or Mukhis. Inside the bead, there is a central core, similar to a cartridge, which is the actual seed.
Ancient Indian scriptures mention Rudraksha beads with anywhere from one to thirty-eight faces, although in modern times, beads with up to twenty-one faces have been commonly discovered. The number of faces is identified by counting the distinct natural lines running vertically from the top to the bottom of the bead.
Scientific studies have explored the effects of various types of Rudraksha beads, and findings support many of the traditional claims made in ancient texts regarding their influence on the human body and mind. Among all the varieties, more than 95% of Rudraksha beads found in nature are of the Five-Mukhi (five-faced) type. These are widely considered powerful and beneficial for various physical and spiritual aspects of life.
It is important to note that the price of Rudraksha beads is determined primarily by their rarity and availability, not necessarily by their spiritual potency.
Rudraksha is regarded as an eternal symbol of the earliest civilizations, where Tantra was not just a practice but a holistic way of life. All Agamas and Nigamas—ancient sacred texts—praise Rudraksha as a powerful agent for removing negative energies and sins (Papahara), while also serving as a source of spiritual and physical vitality.
In Tantric traditions, Rudrakshas are considered divine manifestations of the Almighty in various forms. Each Rudraksha type, based on its number of faces (Mukhis), is associated with specific mantras and rituals, all outlined in Tantric scriptures.
In the practice of Yoga, Rudrakshas are revered as energetic counterparts of the six Shadadhara (Chakras), and are believed to support the eightfold path of Yoga (Ashtanga Sadhana). In Astrology, Rudrakshas are seen as microcosmic representations of planetary energies and celestial bodies. They are widely used in astrological remedies for resolving various physical, mental, and spiritual challenges.
In Ayurveda—the ancient system of natural healing—Rudraksha plays a key role as a potent ingredient in numerous medicinal formulations. Beyond its symbolic and energetic significance, it is recognized for its therapeutic properties and is considered a divine healing element in holistic medicine.
In the realm of modern science, the significance of Rudraksha has been acknowledged through rigorous research and study. Several universities and scientists have conducted extensive investigations and validated the beneficial properties of Rudraksha using scientific reasoning and technological analysis.
According to modern physics and related disciplines, electromagnetic energy (also referred to as prana) exists in all matter in a kinetic form. However, in certain rare materials, this energy exists in a latent or static form. Rudraksha belongs to this rare category of substances. Composed largely of carbon, Rudraksha exhibits unique energetic properties that resonate with the human body—which is primarily made up of carbon and calcium.
Though it is a non-conductor, Rudraksha is capable of transferring subtle electromagnetic energy to the body when needed. Simultaneously, it absorbs toxins and negative energies, thereby purifying and revitalizing the system.
In essence, Rudraksha functions as a scientifically supported cleansing and energizing agent. This miraculous seed, uniquely crafted by nature, continues to reveal its secrets—many of which remain undiscovered.
